According to the recent data on China's urban lakes, the author holds that the major environmental problems of those lakes are lake eutrophication, water pollution and silt deposition. Furthermore, relying on the experience of comprehensive environmental management of China's urban lakes, proposals are put forward to improve urban lake environment in China.
