Based on the hydrologicaJ data in Duchang Station(1953~1992), some characteristics of water level fluctuations, recession hydrograph as well as the trend of evolution of Poyang Lake are statistically analysed. As a result, the possible impacts on the utilization and ecological environments of the lake area are further studied.
